Honoring Our Shawnee Scholars: Class of 2023

The Higher Education & Social Services Department is excited to announce that the Tribe will celebrate the Class of 2023 with graduation honor cords & medallions and the First Annual Shawnee Scholars Banquet!

Citizens graduating from high school, GED, certificate, and vocational programs will receive a tasseled honor cord, and those graduating from undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs will receive an engraved medallion bearing the seal of the Shawnee Tribe. We will ship your cord or medal in time for your graduation event (submit your info using the form linked at the bottom of this page).

Additionally, Class of 2023 graduates and two of their guests are invited to join us for the First Annual Shawnee Scholars Banquet on May 21. Dinner will be provided. Please RSVP no later than noon on Friday, May 19.
