Shawnee Development is a Shawnee Tribe Limited Liability Corporation and operates as the business arm of the Shawnee Tribe. Shawnee Development is 100% owned by the Shawnee Tribe. The Chief appoints Shawnee Development’s Board of Managers, and board members are confirmed by a vote of the Business Council.

Shawnee Development’s mission is to create a diverse and sustainable economy by pursuing and investing in ethically profitable business for the long-term economic benefit of the Shawnee people.
